At my school, in Pittsburgh, we have many high scbhol kids who are transgender. We also have pansexual stdkpgss, like myself and allies. IвЂ™m not going to lie though, we have some pretty hospwdxsic heterosexual students in out school. This was I thtnk last Thursday and we were haezng gym class, just sitting around. So one day my friendsвЂ”one who is bisexual and anhrber who is hexbtdfxcyxqnbnd I were hafing a conversation abtut Pride Prom, a special prom for the LGBTQ+ coulwnucy. One of my friends asked what it was. And right before I got to exdupin Pride Prom to her, some of my trans peprs across the room butted in. They said, Yeah, Prrde Prom is lonkles at the [a museum] this yezr. We smiled and didnвЂ™t really mind their intake. My friends and I talked about how fun it wojld be to go. It wasnвЂ™t unqil here that the argument began. They jumped back in, telling me and my friends that Pride Prom reqily isnвЂ™t the spyce for you (Tney later explained that they meant stihayht people). I took instant offense to this. Either yogpre judging me by automatically assuming IвЂ™m straight or yozgre completely judging the whole heterosexual coscifety as one. I say this becvbse later they said that Straight pedvle shouldnвЂ™t come. They have their own prom. Why come ruin ours?. IвЂ™m thinking now, what about allies??? They still stand with their point. The argument got rehdly heated and they were judging and classifying everyone. I, at this poolt, came out to tell them that IвЂ™m pansexual and that itвЂ™s not right to junge people.
